Zainab Alibhai Celebrates Her 5,000th Skydive at The 41 Beach Club

13 Years in the Sky. A Milestone Built on Passion, Dedication, and Community

On 26 April 2026, the skies above Diani Beach became the backdrop for an unforgettable moment in Kenyan skydiving history as Go Jump Kenya founder and Dropzone Owner, Zainab Alibhai, completed her 5,000th skydive at the beautiful 41 Beach Club.

What began 13 years ago as a dream and deep passion for human flight has evolved into a remarkable international journey across continents, aircraft, and some of the world’s most iconic drop zones. From humble beginnings to becoming one of Africa’s most recognized female figures in skydiving, Zainab’s journey represents perseverance, courage, resilience, and an unwavering love for the sport.

Reaching 5,000 jumps is considered an extraordinary milestone in the global skydiving community, one that reflects not only experience in the air, but years of commitment, discipline, travel, learning, teaching, and building relationships around the world.

Over the last 13 years, Zainab has had the privilege of jumping at numerous drop zones internationally, learning from world-class instructors, flying with incredible skydivers from different cultures, and representing Kenya within the global skydiving industry. Every jump, every country, and every encounter has contributed to shaping both her personal journey and the growth of skydiving in East Africa.

THIS MILESTONE WAS NOT ACHEIVED ALONE.

Go Jump Kenya would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to every instructor, mentor, coach, pilot, packer, rigger, videographer, organizer, teammate, student, tandem passenger, friend, and family member who has been part of Zainab’s journey over the years. The skydiving community is built on trust, teamwork, and friendship , and every person who offered guidance, encouragement, opportunities, or support helped make this moment possible.

A special thank you goes out to the incredible community at Go Jump Kenya, the local supporters in Diani Beach, visiting skydivers from around the world, and the many international drop zones that welcomed Zainab throughout her career. Your continued belief, encouragement, and friendship mean more than words can express.

Completing the 5,000th jump at 41 Beach Club made the occasion even more meaningful. Surrounded by the Indian Ocean, white sand beaches, and the vibrant Go Jump Kenya family, it was the perfect setting to celebrate not only a number, but a life dedicated to adventure and aviation.

For Go Jump Kenya, this achievement is also symbolic of how far skydiving in Kenya has come. What once seemed impossible is now inspiring a new generation of skydivers, athletes, and adventurers from across Africa and beyond.

And while 5,000 jumps is an epic milestone, the journey is far from over
