KENYA BOOGIE MARCH 2026 — A historic Skydiving event over the Kenyan Coast
International Skydivers Unite in Kenya for an Unforgettable Boogie Experience
March 2026 marked a major milestone for African skydiving as skydivers from around the world gathered on the stunning Kenyan coastline for the highly anticipated Kenya Boogie 2026. Hosted under the tropical skies of Diani and Vipingo, the event brought together world-class talent, advanced training, breathtaking jumps, and an incredible international skydiving community spirit.
This year’s boogie was especially historic with the presence of legendary skydiving professionals including USPA S&TA Director Ron Bell, internationally respected organizer Mathew Yount, and renowned HALO Master Paul Henry de Baere.
From high-performance formation skydives to beach landings and sunset jumps over the Indian Ocean, the week delivered world-class skydiving in one of the most unique drop zones on the planet.
First-Ever HALO Jumps in Kenya
For the first time in Kenya, participants experienced professionally organized HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) jumps, introducing a completely new level of advanced skydiving operations to the region.
The HALO operations were conducted using the safest and most advanced oxygen systems and specialized equipment provided and supervised by Paul Henry de Baere, ensuring international safety standards throughout the operation. These jumps represented a significant step forward for the development of advanced skydiving operations in East Africa.
Skydivers exited at extreme altitudes above the Kenyan coastline, experiencing long freefall times with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, coral reefs, white sand beaches, and inland landscapes stretching to the horizon.
International Collaboration & Safety Excellence
The success of Kenya Boogie 2026 would not have been possible without the tremendous support and cooperation from both the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) and the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA).
Their professionalism, coordination, and support enabled safe and efficient operations throughout the event, helping elevate Kenya’s position as a growing international skydiving destination.
The collaboration demonstrated how aviation authorities and adventure sports operators can work together to safely develop high-level aerial sports tourism in Kenya.
A Week of Community, Training & Adventure
Beyond the jumps themselves, Kenya Boogie 2026 was a celebration of the global skydiving family. Skydivers from different countries, experience levels, and disciplines came together to train, share knowledge, build formations, and enjoy Kenya’s spectacular coastal environment.
From beach gatherings and debrief sessions to world-class aerial photography and formation jumps above turquoise waters, every day delivered unforgettable moments both in the sky and on the ground.
The event showcased Kenya not only as a breathtaking tourism destination, but also as an emerging hub for professional and recreational skydiving in Africa.
