AT GO JUMP KENYA, SAFETY UNDERPINS EVERYTHING WE DO!

  • USPA FOREIGN AFFILIATE

Go Jump Kenya belongs to the worlds most authoritative voice and global leader in the sport of skydiving; the United States Parachute Association (USPA), as a Foreign Affiliate. We have pledged to maintain the highest standards of USPA’s Basic Safety Requirements (BSR’s) including providing USPA developed first-jump courses and providing USPA approved skydiving equipment. All of our Operating Manuals have been developed in accordance with the BSR’s as well as in conjunction with the requirements of the Kenyan Civil Aviation Authority.

  • SAFETY & TRAINING ADVISORS

We are fortunate enough to have not only one, but three qualified Safety and Training Advisors at our dropzone. Each one of our top three Management staff has either previously served, or is currently serving, as a Safety and Training Advisor appointed by the USPA and has meticulously studied the best safety practices in the sport today. S&TA’s are responsible for upholding compliance to the BSR’s, promoting safe skydiving, and providing safety and training advice to dropzone owners and instructors.

  • KENYAN CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY

Go Jump Kenya reports directly to the Kenyan Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) who have granted us an official authorization by the KCAA to conduct student and tandem skydives. To achieve this, we’ve had to draft and redraft our Operations Manual until it not only adhered to USPA’s BSR’s, but ensured it was 100% compliant with Kenyan regulations as well. In order for the KCAA to continute to authorize us to conduct parachute operations, we are required to submit all relevant and updated documentation to the KCAA regularly. KCAA has visited Go Jump Kenya, inspected our operations, all of our manuals, our facilities, aircrafts, pilots and have even met our instructors. They are diligent in ensuring our procedures are current and that we’re upholding the highest of safety standards in everything we do.

  • FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINSTRATION SENIOR RIGGER

The Owner of Go Jump Kenya is not only the First Kenyan to ever be certified as an FAA Senior Rigger, but we’re proud to say that she’s the only FAA Senior Rigger in the entirety of Eastern Africa. This certification is internationally recognized and allows her to pack both main and reserve parachutes, upholding the highest of standards, while also being able to inspect and maintain all other components of a parachute system. To achieve this certification, she traveled to the most recognized rigging school in the world, The Elite Rigging Academy located in Florida, USA, where she trained and studied for one month directly under the President and Designated Parachute Rigger Examiner. We couldn’t be more proud of this accomplishment, nor pleased to have such knowledge and expertise on our Dropzone.

TO OUR GUESTS, FIRST-TIME SKYDIVERS, AND EXPERIENCED SKYDIVERS ALIKE,

YOU COULDN’T BE IN SAFER HANDS!
