With nearly three decades in the sport and over 12,400 jumps to his name, Robert is a true veteran of the skies—dedicated to sharing the life-changing thrill of freefall with every person he flies with.
A Life in Freefall
Robert’s skydiving journey began on July 1, 1995, and it’s been full throttle ever since. Over 29 years, he has built an exceptional career spanning multiple disciplines, including freeflying, canopy piloting, camera flying, and tandem instruction.
With more than 4,500 tandem jumps, Robert has introduced thousands of people to skydiving, guiding them safely through one of the most unforgettable experiences of their lives.
His experience extends across some of Africa’s most iconic drop zones, including Swakopmund, as well as leading clubs throughout South Africa, from Pretoria and Johannesburg to Plettenberg Bay.

When he’s not in the air, Robert is still deeply immersed in skydiving. As a skilled camera flyer, he captures breathtaking freefall footage, bringing the experience to life long after landing. He’s also actively involved in parachute rigging, equipment maintenance, and the planning of special events and aerial demonstrations.
