USPA: United States Parachute Association

Go Jump Kenya – Foreign Affiliation with USPA

At Go Jump Kenya, safety, professionalism, and world-class standards are at the core of everything we do. We operate in alignment with the globally respected United States Parachute Association (USPA) a leading authority in sport skydiving safety, training, and certification.

What is the USPA?

The United States Parachute Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting safe skydiving through structured training programs, instructor certification, and internationally recognized licensing systems. It supports tens of thousands of skydivers and hundreds of affiliated drop zones worldwide, ensuring consistent safety standards across the sport.

Why This Foreign Affiliation Matters

Operating in alignment with USPA standards reflects our commitment to internationally recognized best practices in skydiving.

1. Globally Recognized Safety Standards

USPA-aligned operations follow strict Basic Safety Requirements (BSRs), a widely respected framework designed to minimize risk and standardize procedures.

At Go Jump Kenya, this translates to:

  • Rigorous operational procedures
  • Regular equipment checks
  • Structured safety briefings for every jump

2. Highly Qualified Instructors

USPA sets the benchmark for instructor training and certification. Instruction is guided by internationally recognized systems and standards.

This ensures that every tandem jump or student experience is conducted with professionalism and expertise.

3. Structured Training & Progression

USPA has developed comprehensive training programs such as the Integrated Student Program (ISP), guiding skydivers from their first jump through advanced licensing levels.

For our clients, this means:

  • A clear and safe learning pathway
  • Consistent teaching methods used worldwide
  • Confidence in progression and skill development

4. Internationally Recognized Framework

USPA systems are widely recognized across the global skydiving community, allowing for consistency in training, safety, and operational standards.

This positions Go Jump Kenya within a broader international skydiving environment.

5. Commitment to Safety & Continuous Improvement

Safety is central to USPA’s mission, supported by ongoing research, data collection, and collaboration across the industry.

By aligning with these standards, Go Jump Kenya remains committed to:

  • Safety-focused operations
  • Best practices in equipment and procedures
  • Continuous improvement in service delivery

6. Accountability & Professional Standards

USPA-aligned frameworks promote accountability, structured operations, and adherence to internationally accepted guidelines.

This reinforces a professional and responsible approach to skydiving activities.

What Sets Go Jump Kenya Apart?

Beach Landings at Diani Beach & Vipingo

We may be biased, but we truly believe that skydiving over the incredible sights of Diamonds Leisure Beach & Golf Resort, The 41 Beach Club and Vipingo Ridge, and landing on their beautiful beaches in Diani and Vipingo, Kenya, is one of the most breathtaking experiences of a lifetime.

Kenyan Owned & Pioneering Expertise

Go Jump Kenya is the first ever dropzone in Kenya that is owned and operated by a Kenyan citizen, who is also the first internationally recognized skydive instructor from Kenya. Our owner is additionally the first Kenyan to be certified as an FAA Senior Parachute Rigger – and the only one in all of East Africa – allowing us to focus on the utmost safety and maintenance of all our equipment.

World-Class Instructors & USPA Standards

Go Jump Kenya is proud to offer some of the most experienced skydiving instructors in the world, all certified by leading parachute associations. We are members of the United States Parachute Association (USPA), the world’s largest skydive federation and global industry leader. Our safety procedures and skydive policies stem from USPA, and all of our instructors are USPA rated, with over 50 years of combined experience and more than 30,000 jumps across 30 countries on 5 continents.

Committed to Our Ocean & Coastline

Go Jump Kenya is proud to donate a portion of our proceeds every month to the conservation and cleaning of our beaches and marine environment. We believe in helping to protect our planet and preserving the beauty of the Kenyan coastline that makes every one of our skydives so special.
