Diani Regatta Spectacle. Go Jump Kenya’s professional team

On February 23, 2025, the picturesque shores of Diani Beach came alive with the vibrant celebration of the Diani Regatta at the renowned Safari Beach Hotel. This annual festival is a tribute to the rich cultural heritage of the Mijikenda Digo community, offering a day filled with traditional music, dance, storytelling, and local crafts. The regatta's highlight is the exhilarating Ngalawa race, where skilled sailors navigate the traditional outrigger canoes through the azure waters, showcasing both their expertise and the enduring maritime traditions of the coastal people.

This year's regatta was made even more thrilling with the participation of Go Jump Kenya, the country's premier skydiving company. Adding an adrenaline-pumping spectacle to the event, Go Jump Kenya organized skydives that culminated in beach landings amidst the festival's activities. Spectators were awestruck as divers descended gracefully from the skies, merging the exhilaration of freefall with the serene beauty of Diani's coastline.

A special highlight of the event was the breathtaking skydiving performance by three highly professional skydivers, including Zainab Alibhai, the CEO of Go Jump Kenya. Zainab, alongside two elite skydivers one of them is also a Drop zone owner of Skydive Croatia, Angelo Vuletic, soared through the skies carrying the winners’ prize, making a dramatic entrance onto the pristine sands of Diani Beach. The moment was met with cheers from an enthusiastic crowd, celebrating both the daring descent and the victorious sailors of the Ngalawa race.

For those inspired to experience the thrill firsthand, Go Jump Kenya offers tandem skydives starting at $399. For an additional $75, participants can have their adventure professionally captured with high-definition videos and photos, ensuring memories that last a lifetime. The company prides itself on its team of highly experienced instructors, including Kenya's first internationally recognized female skydive instructor, ensuring both safety and an unforgettable experience for all.

The Diani Regatta, combined with the exhilarating skydiving experiences offered by Go Jump Kenya, exemplifies the unique blend of cultural richness and adventure that Diani Beach has to offer. Whether you're a thrill-seeker eager to soar above the stunning coastline or a culture enthusiast looking to immerse yourself in local traditions, this event promises an unforgettable experience.
